Rogue Comet Kickstarter

Rogue Comet launched a Kickstarter for a Dungeonesque 5e Gamemaster Toolkit, and it looks pretty amazing!

In somewhat related news I just finished another portrait for another of their projects, this one is an old wizard that could be inspired or not in some obscure fantasy character.

Firebird

Another character portrait for Rogue Comet's upcoming multi-genre RPG, Rarescape. We already got sci-fi, fantasy, cyberpunk and modern adventure characters, so this one is obviously about superheroes:

Montana Jane

Not the real name of the character, she hasn't one as far as I know. But she was supposed to be a female treasure hunter in the vein of Indiana Jones, and I was tired of naming the picture "sci-fi guy", "cyber guy" and things like that.
This is another character for Rogue Comet's Rarescape RPG.

More New Work!

Just finished this character portrait for a post-apocalyptic RPG campaign. Done for Lands of Warlderia

Some Recent Work

These two are part of a very fun series I'm doing for Rogue Comet. They are going to be in a multi-genre tabletop RPG, so apart from both of these, there's some Indiana Jones sort-of character and a superhero in the works.

Xibalba...

"...an inter-apocalyptic dieselpunk world. Where the last habitable regions on earth are under control of the three-kaiser-reich, known as the Superior Kaiser Alliance, members of the US Rebellion united under the banner of the Castor Rebels, the followers of the Path of Purity forming the Shikai Brotherhood, and an ancient alien race that came to herald the end of the world - the Cha'ac."

Pretty neat, uh? You can check more at Voodoo Games. Below are some of my favourite illustrations among the ones done for this cards'n'dice game. These ones and others have been uploaded to the portfolio.

Portfolio Updated

Lots of work uploaded to the portfolio, which has been changed to zenphoto. It seems to work well and it's easy to update. All the work for WTactics is there now, as are all the black & white illustrations for Godslayer.

There's still some drawings done during the long absence that need to be uploaded to the portfolio, and a ton more to the different galleries: DeviantArt, Epilogue, ArtWanted,... Elfwood seems to be down, so no need to update that at least. And looks like GFXArtist doesn't exist anymore. It's been quite long since I checked those.

Below is the last video of the Conscript drawing. Not sure if people like to see these, they may be a bit dry without voice. But they don't take much time to do, so there will be more coming in the future.

Changing the Portfolio

I'm currently testing some changes to the portfolio gallery. And once that is ready I have to upload a lot of new images to it. In the meantime here's part two of the Conscript illustration.

Updating Again

Alright, this blog has been abandoned long enough, let's start updating it with some frequency.

There's a Quellion channel now on VIDME which will be used to upload some drawing sessions for now.

I've done a first test with the sketch for the last piece for WTactics. These card illustrations are done in three steps that lend themselves quite well to do three not very long videos: sketch, outline/base colors, and coloring. The plan is to do the three videos with this piece and if it's not very time consuming keep doing it for others. This first test seemed promising, there was little to no editing needed, and I could keep working on other things while the video was processed and uploaded.

The video is at roughly twice the speed because it will be quite boring if not.
